I am a senior Design BFA student at the University of Texas at Austin, pursuing a certificate in Humanitarian Engineering. My work focuses on the intersection of industrial design, user-centered systems, and socially driven problem-solving. I’ve developed skills in physical computing, rapid prototyping, and CAD through internships at ANDesign Lab and ROX Co, as well as hands-on research and public engagement through the UT Design program. In spring of my junior year, I studied abroad at Aarhus Universitet in Denmark, where I explored Scandinavian design, traveled across Europe, and embraced the Danish concept of hygge. This experience expanded my perspective and deepened my interest in global design ethics. I’m especially drawn to projects that emphasize ecological responsibility and community engagement. Whether I’m designing a guitar learning tool, prototyping a sustainable bracelet from recycled glass, or leading a papermaking workshop using invasive plants, I approach each challenge with curiosity, empathy, and a belief in design as a tool for tangible change.
